Named Cleopatra because of her beauty, understand that any name would have been preferred to Porterhouse Mistri (her racing name). After Mistri's undistinguished racing career, her owners decided to keep her for their daughter who was learning to ride. Meredith and Mistri were wonderful partners until college commitments took Meredith out of the area. Mistri was a cherished gift to me. A challenging ride, Mistri will reward your accuracy and correctness of aids – even if it takes a while.

Mistri's main mission in life is to keep Pebbles in line, which she does successfully.
