I met Gina the day she walked off the trailer. I had been working at a horse farm, and in an office meeting heard of a horse who had a large unpaid board bill. With an unfashionable and undistinguished pedigree, she was destined for slaughter once the terms of the lien were legally satisfied. The words “I’ll take her” came flying out of my mouth.

Gina at St. Clement's Gina arrived in November of 1988 with very long hair and a large gangly stride. That first winter she had trouble holding a canter in the indoor ring. The rest, as they say, is history. She went on to win numerous TCRA year-end awards as a hunter and equitation horse, and also garnered great ribbons at A shows and Dressage at Saratoga.

Gina is retired, and is the girlfriend of TACO.
